(HA) is led by Mira Henry. Mira is a designer and educator. She is the principal of (HA) and the co-principal of the collaborative project Current Interests. She is design faculty at Southern California Institute for Architecture, where she coordinates undergraduate design studios and the DID summer program for local youth.
Henry holds a Bachelor’s in Art History from the University of Chicago and a Master’s of Architecture from UCLA. She is the recipient of the Henry Adams AIA Award and Archiprix International Gold Medal for her Master’s research project “Urban Upholstery.” She has participated in numerous symposia, lectures, exhibitions and reviews at institutions nationwide, including Harvard University, Yale University, Princeton University, Syracuse University, and The University of Michigan. Prior to teaching, Henry worked as a design and project architect for Office dA and Monica Ponce de Leon Studio in New York.
